Mbappe Scores Twice As Hosts Cruise To Victory

France's dominance continues as they defeat Netherlands in Euro 2024 qualifier

Mbappe scores twice as hosts cruise to victory

Les Bleus make it four wins from four in qualifying campaign

France continued their impressive start to their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Netherlands on Sunday. Kylian Mbappe scored twice for the hosts, who have now won all four of their matches in Group B.

The Netherlands, who were appearing in their first match under new manager Ronald Koeman, were outclassed by a dominant France side. The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Mbappe curled a stunning effort into the top corner. Wissam Ben Yedder doubled the advantage just seven minutes later, before Mbappe added his second in the 32nd minute.

The Netherlands never really threatened to get back into the game, and France cruised to victory. The win moves them top of Group B, three points clear of the Republic of Ireland, who they face in their next match.

France's victory was a further sign of their growing dominance in European football. They are now unbeaten in their last 10 matches, and have won their last five games by an aggregate score of 16-0. They will be one of the favourites to win Euro 2024, and will be looking to add to their tally of two European Championship titles.
